New House!

We have taken a little break from adding posts to our blog so a lot has happened.  Hopefully we can get caught up with all of our exciting events. 

One major change is the big move we made last August!  The first week of school we closed on our new and hopefully our forever home.  It was a crazy time with school, football, moving, home renovations and Braxton starting kindergarten.  Our new house needed TONS of work and still does but we are enjoying all of our renovations.  Here are some before pics of the outside.

The first thing we did was sand and stain all of the wood floors in the entire house.  We had a lot of friends and family help with this big job that took a little over a week to finish.  They turned out great....hopefully we never have to redo them again!

Now we could finally move in!  Some football players and friends came to help move all of our stuff from the basement and garage where we had been storing everything.  Upstairs items were a little tricky so the boys had to lift furniture over our bedroom balcony to get it inside.  It was a little scary but luckily there were no injuries or broken furniture.

Braton's First Baseball Game

Braxton played baseball for the first time this year and loved it!!

Braxton's 1st Lost Tooth

Braxton had a cavity so Aunt Michele decided he needed his tooth pulled out.  It was not fun at all but he can smile about it now!



Hudson was asleep when we got home from our dentist trip so he was so excited to see his brother when he woke up.

The tooth fairy gave Brax $10 since he had to have his tooth pulled and both him and Mommy were traumatized by the experience!

Landyn...Our Pet for a Week

Mamaw Cindy found a turtle and sent it over for the boys to take care of for a week.  Braxton thought it was a land turtle so he named him Landyn.  They had a lot of fun with Landyn and were sad when we finally let him go.

A Little Busy

We have obviously been a little busy the past month and I haven't taken the time to do any posts.  Hopefully this week will be a little better since school is over!

Rilee's New Room

Since J.D. and Lindsay are having a new baby soon Rilee gets a new bedroom!!  The guys have been working hard to get her room done before baby Garrett gets here.
