MVL Champs!!

The Scotties are the MVL champs again this year.  It was a little cold so Hudson stayed with Uncle J.D. and Aunt Lindsay while Brax and I went to the game.  Mamaw and Papaw Lyle and Papaw Perry and Lisa were also there.

Angry Birds

Yes my three year old loves this game.  I have learned what it feels like to have to limit your child on their technology time!

The Boondocks

Wednesday we traveled to McConnelsville for calling hours so on the way back we stopped at my favorite restaurant THE BOONDOCKS!!  This little whole in the wall was actually on the t.v. show Diners Drive Ins and Dives.

Papaw and Braxton

The boys with mamaw and papaw...Brax was excited he got to use a knife can you tell!!

This was the first time Hudson got to sit in a big boy seat....he was so proud!!

My favorite part of dinner....warm chocolate chip cookies!!

I think this is Hudson's favorite part of dinner also!!!!!!!!  While we were taking the first picture he grabbed the whole cookie and put it in his mouth...I think I am going to have 2 rotten boys!

The Trail

Tuesday night Uncle Joe stopped over to give the boys some Halloween candy.  We decided since it was nice we would walk up on the trail by our house.  Braxton took his bike and was having a blast riding around.

Thanks for helping us up on the trail Uncle Joe!!

The Number 5!!!

Braxton is OBSESSED with the number 5 for some reason.  He asked us a while back when he would turn 5 and we said not this birthday but the next birthday.  So from that he only heard the word next and will argue with anyone who tells him otherwise.  Whenever he sees the number 5 he points it out and explains how he can't wait to be 5!  It has become a major obsession that comes up multiple times a day.

Braxton's Dreams

Braxton informed us today that he has many dreams.

He said the things he dreams about include:

1) Bull Riding

2) Driving the 4 wheeler BY MYSELF

3) Calling Papaw Perry

We've been Boo'ed!!!

Last night I heard a knock at the door and we found a package on the front porch...we have been boo'ed!!  There were tons of goodies for the boys and Braxton was so excited.

The boys with their goodies...bubbles, Scooby Doo snacks, applesauce, binkies, bath sponge and puppet and Braxton's favorite light up axes!!

Mmmmmm.......food!!!!!

These toys were a hit!

I think Hudson's going to love Christmas!!!

Thanks to our friends that Boo'ed us.........I wonder where the Boo box will be going next!

Happy Birthday Papaw Perry!

This weekend we celebrated Papaw Perry turning 50 by throwing him a surprise party.  It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed hanging out with friends and family.  I didn't get any pictures of Braxton because he was running around socializing!

Hudson trying out Papaw's new birthday present!

Hudson was loving Josi and Wyatt at the party.

All partied out!!

Lions and Tigers and Bears.....Oh My!

This week in Zanesville some wild animals were set loose and roaming around free for a couple days.  Braxton was very interested in the animals and wanted to take his gun to Tam's house so he could protect her!  We decided to send the boys with some books so Tami could teach them all about these wild animals.  Fortunately all of the animals were accounted for by the end of day 2.  This event caused some major publicity including The Today Show, Inside Edition, and every major television station around the U.S.

Jack Hanna from the Columbus Zoo came to help

Sign that was along the interstate
The animals consisted of 18 rare Bengal tigers, 17 lions, six black bears, a pair of grizzlies, three mountain lions, two wolves and a baboon.

Big Boy Cup

Hudson tried using his own big boy cup this week.  He likes being able to do things himself...just like Braxton!

Little Crunchies

Hudson hates his baby food so we got him some food he can eat himself and he is so much happier eating by himself!  This was the first time he ate some little crunchies and loved them.

Hmmmm....what are these??

OK I think I like them!

After I took the puffs away he kept looking in his hands like he was looking for more!
I guess he thought he could make more appear!

Leaves, Leaves and More Leaves

Daddy decided to clean up the leaves and put them behind the garage.  Of course Braxton had to help and then play.  This was Hudson's first time playing in the leaves and he loved it!

Our big mound of leaves!
