Home, Jammies and Toys

Today we decided to stay home in our jammies and play with every toy we got!  Brax had a little bit of a fever and a sore throat....I'm hoping it's just a one day bug but we will see tomorrow. :(

Rilee's Sick

Rilee had a fever on Christmas Eve so they didn't come down to Mamaw and Papaw Clark's.  We were all bummed so we decided to visit them on Christmas night!  She wasn't into opening presents but we had fun playing anyway.

For Christmas lunch every year we go to Mamaw and Papaw Brownrigg's to visit and open gifts.

Christmas Morning

Mr. Braxton decided to wake up at 2 am and stay awake until I finally got mad and went out to the couch at 5:15!  Then he fell asleep until 7:30 when we heard Santa's bells and the reindeer on the roof. 

Other than that Christmas morning was awesome!!  The kids had fun opening gifts, eating homemade cinnamon rolls and playing with all of their toys. :)

Christmas in the Cabin

Brax has been asking when we were going back to Mamaw and Papaw Clark's house to stay all night since this summer.  It is my favorite tradition that many people think is crazy but I wouldn't change it for anything.  My whole family goes to my grandma and grandpas house on Christmas Eve and we all stay all night and wait for Santa!!  Yes we all load every present in our cars and travel to Noble County for the big day.  I LOVE IT!!!

My Papaw is a goofball!!  He loves to keep things interesting and it's always fun to see what tricks he has played on everyone.  This year one of his tricks included making Ciera go buy her own gift that was supposed to be from him and wrap it herself.  Then he gave her a different gift.

Christmas at the Shipleys

Christmas Eve we always go to Mamaw and Papaw Shipleys for dinner and then we exchange gifts.  We always get excited because Jacob and Elaina come in town!

This is my favorite gift I got this year! 
It is a recordable book that Mamaw and Braxton made for me. 
Mamaw asked Brax different questions about Christmas and Brax answered them.  It is super cute!!!
