The Last Picture of 2011

Here is the last picture of my beautiful boys in 2011. 

This has by far been the best year of my life!
  We have been blessed with so many things and Nathan and I thank God for them every day.
I am looking forward to making more memories with friends and family in 2012.....can't wait to see what's next!

New Year's Eve

This year we spent New Year's Eve with the Garber's and the Reilly's.  We had some yummy food and watched the kids play.

Our First Slumber Party

Addison and Ayla came over for our first slumber party last night.  We started the night off with some Just Dance 3 then had dinner and baked cookies.  We watched a movie (Bambi) and had some popcorn before we headed for bed.  The kids were in bed about 10 and were up at about 6!  They were so excited to play before Alicia came to pick them up.  They were so good and we didn't have 1 argument!!  I was super impressed.  I think I had as much fun as the kids!  Looking forward to another slumber party soon! :)

Today we had to replace our hot water heater....yuck!  Luckily it didn't completely break and ruin our basement carpet.  Papaw and J.D. came over to help.

A Visit With Friends

Yesterday a few high school friends came over to visit.  One of our best friends Stephanie was home from Denver and we hadn't seen her for about a year.  Sara came over with her daughters Maddie and Olivia and Heather also came with her daughters Ella and Emily.  It was fun to catch up and see each other again!!

After church we went to our last Christmas celebration at Mamaw and Papaw Lyle's house.  We had some lunch then opened gifts.

Christmas Round 2

Christmas morning was spent at our house for the first time since Braxton was born.  At about 7:30 we heard the reindeer on the roof and Santa's sleigh bells so Brax ran downstairs to try to see him.  What do you know Papaw Perry and Lisa were walking down the sidewalk and saw Santa leave!!  Brax couldn't believe it! We enjoyed opening a few more presents from Santa and playing with our toys before heading off to church.

Santa told Brax that he took our elf "Elfie" back to the North Pole with him to start making toys for Christmas next year.  He did tell Brax that Elfie might come back and check on him a few times throughout the year.
